NSW: NSW police official ordered to undergo retraining

One of the New South Wales' top police officers has escaped the sack over his dealings with
a disgraced former policeman.

Instead, the Police Integrity Commission has recommended Deputy Police Commissioner JEFF
JARRATT undergo re-education on the meaning of conflict of interest.

The PIC says Mr JARRATT showed bad judgment in his dealings with former State Intelligence
Group chief inspector ANGUS GRAHAM.

PIC Commissioner PAUL URQUHART stopped short of recommending Mr JARRATT be disciplined,
